"The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and had everything we needed. Bus stop is near by, however it is quite expensive, 31 euros for a day pass, when you have a family it soon adds up. Please note, it you go out of season, there is not much to do in the local area. Beautiful views of the beach, from out balcony, beach was 2 mins away and clean and great for the kids to play. Overall we had a great stay. "

"I enjoyed my stay here. From the moment you enter the staff is amicable and help you with anything you need, e.g. taxi, bar, restaurant appointment. The room I got was on the ground floor and it had an area to go outside. The whole place was quiet and lovely. They also have bikes to rent and and an area to ride them alongside the river. They have a restaurant inside the hotel and one beside it, it is about 15 from the Venice airport but overall it was enjoyable. "

"Beautiful rooms and close to the Venice airport with a shuttle service for a nominal fee. You can't really walk anywhere, but the hotel had a very nice restaurant and we had a wonderful meal our last night in Italy. My only complaint was the lack of a plug in the bathroom to heat up my curling iron, and of course where there were other plugs in the room there were no mirrors."

Bus stops for either direction nearby and parking at the hotel if using your own transport. A taxi from the airport to it is cheaper than using the hotel transport. "Excellent hotel but more dated than the pictures look. Rooms are large but you can hear conversations from other rooms. Great to have a beach across the road - weather permitting, of course. It's also nice to stay away from Venice island but have access to it. Ferry no. 14 is the most direct way to get to San Marco in 10 minutes, but make sure you go in the right direction. The rooftop bar is lovely when open. The only downside is the breakfast which, contrary to other reviews, was quite bland...
