"It’s good to remember this is a castle for several reasons. The first being the heating system is antiquated. Second, wi-fi has dead spots and does not necessarily work in your room. Third, the castle caters to groups/weddings and some get quite loud. They are celebrating. With these things in mind it was a nice stay. "

It would have been helpful we’d been advised that there was an engagement party & live band playing that night as we were staying as we were running the Delamere Forest Marathon the next morning and hoping for an early night as we had an early start.
