"The service was excellent a young man called Simon was very attentive,as where all the staff.The hotel was lovely and warm even though it was very cold outside.Food was nice but do think the menu needs a change for evenings .Maybe a veg lasagna as I'm a vegetarian."

"Value for money, easy and quick to check in and out, convenient, lovely pub on site. Only downsides were nothing for children in the pub or hotel and cleanliness, dust and a few hairs in the bathroom and cobweb hanging from ceiling, nothing major."

"A hidden-away gem in North Wales. Beautiful house, beautifully restored, warm and comfortable. The food offering is top notch and the staff are extremely helpful and professional. Only stayed two nights but next time will be longer."

"Lovley old original property, our room had a nice view of the castle. Dinner was superb but we couldn’t reccomend the breakfast , The buffet ran out completely ( orange juice toast etc ) and wasn’t replenished for over half an hour in spite of us asking . We waited over an hour for our cooked breakfast to arrive . When it did arrive there was one rasher of bacon, one sausage, half a mushroom and one fried egg. I’m not a greedy person but it didn’t seem like a lot for £15. After waiting so long...

"We had an incredible experience staying at Lansdowne House for New Years. The property is beautifully decorated and provides a luxurious experience from the moment you step through the door. "Lovely hotel, some rooms are excellent and exceeded expectations, spa facilities, main hall, library, bar and restaurant are beautifully renovated, and we were allocated room no.17, sympathetically decorated in keeping with the character of the Hall, the bathroom was very modern and clean. Spa was great, pool sauna, steam room very nice too. We had an issue with the TV and staff did all they could to fix the problem, even brought in another TV and we could use apps more easily. "So warm and welcoming,I was there when unfortunately there was a burst water pipe in Conway area then Llandudno The staff where brillant looking after us,they had to ration drinking water but we all got some.Our room was perfect Twin beds a table with two chairs so we could chill and take in the sea view .Lots of tea coffee milk etc plus hair dryer I will definitely go back "

"We loved the spa and the quietness hotel was clean some area’s looked tiered windows in particular condensation pooling water on sills staff very friendly and happy to help bistro food was nice but very small portions overall we had a relaxing experience "

Two Day 60th Birthday Holiday

"The stay was to celebrate my partner Carol's 60th birthday. We really enjoyed our two day stay. The weather outside was atrocious but our room & facilities inside the hotel were wonderful. We felt we were well looked after. We sat outside on our veranda, just to look at the sea, even in the wind. The view was so beautiful. "

Great location and worth a visit

"The staff on arrival were attentive and helpful. Although a little quiet as just after New Year and everyone's catching up with themselves. The hotel was cosy, reasonably busy and the log fire gives it some charm. General areas looking a little tired, but not off putting "
