Cozy cabin right near Lake Tahoe. Close to Tahoe city. Very quiet and private setting. Also close to some great paved bike trails.

Nice size cabin for 2. Quiet off the beaten path neighborhood. Easy 2 block walk to lake beach and not many people comparatively. Close to town too. Would stay there again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location and beautiful cabin - I would definitely stay here again.Only areas for improvement: Multiple lightbulbs were burned out and there was no toilet paper.

Enjoyed the cottage for its generous room size, great location, safe surroundings, except for a paw print on my car. 😀 Hope to return. I’d recommend this place during temperate weather, probably not if it’s hot, as there’s no AC and windows may not be readily open if there’s much bear activity. Kayaking on the lake is extremely accessible, and Tahoe City close by. Nice spot!

Overall it was really nice. It could have been cleaner overall. It also is dated and could use a better shower setup and a bigger tv for the evenings.

The cottage is story book. It is a destination in itself. Complete with charming timber features, shingle siding, windows everywhere (and a view of the lake), open beam ceilings, stone fireplace, hardwood floors, custom kitchen and appliances, and HUGE jacuzzi tub. The space is fully furnished with comfortable furniture that adds to the experience. The cottage is also fully fitted with dishes, linens, supplies, and household things we would not have expected to be included. The cottage is up a path away from the street; the neighborhood is quiet, away from traffic; there's a small beach 4 minutes down the street--clean and uncrowded-- where you can see the lake bottom through the spectacular clear water. The thriving center of town with food and activities is just 5 minutes away.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No internet . Tried reset many times. Jacuzzi tub non op. These are main items and we would not have rented had we known. 3rd item is bottom cushions on sofa need to be restuffed. You find yourself slanted in a ditch type seat. Correcting those 3 issues and putting screens on windows would make it great. Can’t open windows for crosswind.
