"A unique place to stay that really ticked the boxes - I stayed as part of a group and each of us enjoyed the experience, the birds, meerkats, tortoises & reptiles adding to an amazing stay! The bird show (included in price) was good and the staff extremely knowledgeable - the self contained rooms were very clean & comfortable and having a kitchenette with fridge/toaster etc was perfect, the en-suite shower room was large & again very clean - highly recommend a stay here!"

Slightly inconvenient that you have to call the management company 1 hour in advance ilof arriving so that they can send an agent with keys; I would have preferred an access code sent electronically. "My partner and Ioved staying here for our first little getaway together. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and cook dinner, the WiFi was good enough for us to watch Disney+ and it was closed to Cambridge park and ride for a day out. Would recommend and stay again. "

Rooms spacious, furnishing basic We booked for a party of 8, however there were only 6 dining chairs, 6 metal knives and only 5 mugs, of which one had a broken handle. So, provision of equipment was not adequate for the party size booked. There was no check-in information provided. "Lily pad could be wonderful. Its setting is beautiful. I was really looking forward to staying. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard.
