"This was an amazing place to stay for the price we paid. It is an older Moorish-style structure with a central courtyard of several floors that is enclosed. It is at the base of Albayzin, and it leads to a narrow street alongside the Darro river where you can see Alhambra on the other side. A stone bridge across the river can lead you to Alhambra eventually. (It you don't mind steep walks, which we don't.) Highly recommend this place."

"Beautiful hotel and excellent staff. Room very small and had to ask for robes and hair conditioner. Excellent food both at breakfast and dinner (except for bread at dinner which was stale and leftover from breakfast."

"Wonderful wonderful stay. Central location to all the things I wanted to do. The staff spoke enough English to assist me at check in and gave me a complimentary map and highlighted locations to visit during my stay. My room was very tidy and clean. The ceiling color was absolutely my favorite (Tiffany blue). My only teeny tiny complaint was the noise from the streets (couple of bars near hotel). I was on the 3rd floor so if you are a light sleeper I would recommend requesting a top floor. Would absolutely book here again. "
