Older building appears newly remodeled, everything inside appears new and nice, comfortable beds. Parking spot is a plus, can be a little hard to navigate out of if curbside packed with big pickups. Advertising space for 2 cars but looks like would be a tight fit if larger vehicles. Our family has stayed in Liberty Station hotels previously, we picked this because in same area and wanted a bit more space with teenagers. Easy walk to restaurants, able to run or walk to Liberty Station or harbor area with only 1-2 major roads to stop for traffic. We did notice homeless appearing individuals in the neighborhood, had one night when awakened by someone yelling incoherently and repeatedly in the middle of the night. We took that as the price of being in a city. On arrival I put water in the tea kettle and turned on the burner on the stove, thinking about I have a cup of tea, but it set off the fire alarm, calling attention to, as far as I could tell, lack of ventilation fan for gas range. I decided there was no way I’d want to actually cook anything on that stove. Also are only 3 kitchen counter barstools and no other place to sit to eat, so I ended up standing in kitchen for meals until someone else was done, since I didn’t like to sit on couch with food and definitely wouldn’t trust my teens to do so. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, would return. Would like to have seen clearer instructions on how to use the entry keypad and maybe a tea table?
