"This is always a wonderful place to stay when we are in Rome. They helped us to arrange transport from the airport to the hotel even though it was a very busy time. The only thing that is sad is that they have canceled their dinner/cocktail service in the evening. "

"We were traveling in Italy to visit a family member who is studying here this semester. We had 3 generations (teenagers, parents and grandparents ) in our group and every thing went well. There is a common area and plenty of bedroom space to accommodate our group of 10 people. There are several places to get something to eat nearby. The walk to the metro was just a few blocks. "When we first walked into the apartment we thought for sure that we had stepped arrived at the wrong address. The online photos were beautiful and elegant. The actual apartment was a dismal dump. Half of the listed amenities were nonexistent, including ones that we had planned our trip around. For example, we needed a clothes washer and dryer. We also needed a full stove with oven. "Location was great! There is a bar Nextdoor that can create some noise but it didn’t bother us much. When you walk out the door you’re right into the night life but there isn’t much foot traffic outside the door so that also helped with noise. It was the perfect size for the two of us and being that the bedroom is underground it helped keep it very cool in addition to the air conditioners. The host was very pleasant and our stay was so easy! Would recommend!"

"This was our first trip outside of our home country. The building is beautiful, and within walking distance to so many beautiful sites. We had some hiccups along the way which arent always prevalent, but happened nonetheless. Upon our second day, we had a note on our door from the tenant below us stating a water pipe had burst in his unit and he was forced to shut the water off (including our unit) jdjswe were able to work around it "

"Very friendly hosts with helpful communication and smooth check in process. Great location 15 minutes walk from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Spacious, secure accommodation with everything you need - although a kettle would be a great addition. Only issue is some damp smells in the apartment. "

"Hotel Artemide is centered in a convenient location. We were able to walk, to & from the train station, The Trevi Fountain & The Pantheon. The staff is very accommodating. Special thank you to Sabina who greeted us every morning at breakfast with a warm smile. Her service was magnificent! By the way breakfast choices were excellent, they even had many vegan choices .Desk staff Andrea & Francesco were very friendly & always gave a warm greeting .Francesco who helped us with our bags gave excellent service. They all made our stay super awesome. Our room was just the right size, the hotel is super clean and very quiet . Thanks for making our vacay special!"

A proper Hotel in Rome

"This was the best hotel we could find in rome, with proper facilities and services. The staff were extremely friendly and spoke English as well The rest were all just small little rooms at 16sqm that costed twice as much as this hotel. It's just a short walk from Bici Baci as well where you can rent your vespa to explore rome. Best way to explore. And there are plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance. The Roma Termini station which can take you to the airport, is slightly further but still just a 10-15min walk away. There are buses that go that way as well but we enjoyed our walk in rome."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and our water restocked. We were greeted each time we left or returned. All sites with the exception of the Vatican were within walking distance. Plenty of shopping and restaurants to choose from!! There is a great cafe right on the corner owned by the nicest couple. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! "
