"The cottage was very nice and well equipped! Easy to find in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house has been updated since the photos were taken and it is very nice! The back deck view is covered by a lot of trees so you cannot see the golf course any more. Perfect for a quick trip to OBX!"

"The Flat Top cottage was the perfect place for our week long vacation to the OBX. The living room furniture was comfortable and the king bed was amazing. I rarely sleep well the first couple of nights away from home, but I slept great from the first night to the last. "The perfect size for one to two people And a pup or two. Charming bungalow, great amenities. Loved the available seating on porch and deck (though cushions for the rockers and a small table between them wouldn’t be a bad idea.) Great access to the beach and close to grocery stores. Highly recommend!"

"The Salty Shrimp was the perfect location, clean, inviting, and comfy. They had accessories for our dog, board games and toys, and lots of beach gear. We had such a great time here with access to so many shops and restaurants in the general area, and even though it rained every day of our trip we made it to the beach every day with just a super short one block walk. "Communication with owner before we arrived was easy and quick. Check-in was easy and we enjoyed the location which is a backyard and street away from the ocean. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and convenient to going either north or south on the Outer Banks. We enjoyed our time at "Down South". We did not realize we needed to bring our own sheets and towels. We stopped at a thrift store in Kitty Hawk on the way down and bought some. "4pm is too late for check-in. Most people are driving and go directly to the property. I arrived at 3:30 and had to try to contact them so we could get in to use the restrooms. All of the voicemails were full and initially we gave up and left to find restrooms. I guess I could have tried to get an early check-in. Not a deal breaker though. Nice place and great location. Pool was clean. "
