"I was nervous about preparing Thanksgiving meal in an unfamiliar kitchen. This house had all I needed, plus a big fridge and a great oven (baked my pumpkin pie better than my own oven). It was nice to have 2+ bathrooms, a big driveway and use of the garage. My grandsons had a great time at several parks in the neighborhood. Beds were comfortable too. "

"We really wanted to give this place a low rating to keep others from booking it, but we can't. It's a ten. Maybe an eleven. The house is charming, nicely updated with a 1950s lake cabin feel. The host provided a generous supply of coffee--a much appreciated touch. Our only warning is about the steep stairs, both inside an outside. Not an issue for us but this is not a place for guests with mobility issues. We'll be back--unless you beat us to it."

"We visited KC for a Chiefs game and stayed here for 3 nights. Located near the airport and freeway entrance, it’s about 25 minutes from downtown KC. The complex looks like it’s newly converted from an office building so it’s a little sterile and isolated, but the space is clean and dog friendly. It’s a good alternative to a hotel room if you want more space. Property manager was super responsive. My suggestions for an even better stay is to provide laundry detergent, and cooking oil and spices...

"This is an older home that’s had many updates, but still has some quirks, such as squeaky kitchen cabinet doors. It was neat and clean and nicely decorated, and the bonus was the pool table. The pool sticks were broken, but new ones were brought over to the house in person. The backyard was fenced and there was plenty room for all four of us to enjoy our time together. "
