"Definitely a fun hostel vibe. Hard to find the check in (as the quick check in was not working for us), but we were helped by staff once we were noticed. The hostel had/has LOTS of events and things to do in the massive building. It was lively (too much at times with rowdy drunk "kids" - under 25), and busy even in the winter. "Overall, we had a great stay at Steel House! Negatives: - Room wasn't super clean - hair and dust around some places - Be aware that pool costs 25dkk per person, per hour slot (this is mentioned but I didn't find it super obvious) Positives: - Good location, abkut a 15/20 min walk away from most tourist attractions, with buses and train station nearby. "The property was great for us as a family. We were busy all day and just needed somewhere to rest our heads and feet from all the walking we did. It would have been nice to have towels provided and being British, we’d have loved a kettle for making our own hot drinks. "The only downside to this hostel is that parking is expensive in this part of Copenhagen. We enjoyed the view from our room. It was comfortable and conveniently located. We rented bikes from Danhostel and enjoyed riding around the city. The shared kitchen helped us save some money on food and there was a grocery store close by."

"Our hotel/hostel of choice when we visit our family in Sluseholmen. My review is based on its excellent value for money. If you like more luxurious accommodation then it may not be for you. We only use it for sleeping in as we spend daytime at our son’s appointment. The room has no tea making equip or mini fridge. There is shower gel & hairdryer. "A quick stover hotel for us. We were surprised how good this hotel was for what we paid. The room was large and comfortable and the breakfast was great. We were provided any instructions to check in when we arrived late during the festival periods. However the after hour staff Provided support as needed."

"My apartment was small but perfect for solo travelling. Everything i needed, shower, toilet, microwave, fridge, kettle, bed, tv, safe, hanging rail for clothing, even had a hairdryer tucked away although not something i use. Was clean and warm. Windows that open to let air in should you need it. They provide breakfast down by reception. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Great place and romantic atmosphere

"It was great. I had a certain rebate on a hotel night to use and I decided to use it for a romantic day with my Danish boyfriend. The hotel offers many options to make the bedroom more romantic and they even gifted me a bottle of sparkling wine which was rly kind of them. The pool was fun and the sauna as well. Overall a rly nice place to bond with your partner."

"We had a great stay at this hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. The room did get very warm (even with the radiators offf in December) but the windows opened, so we could cool it easily. Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious, with a range of fresh and healthy food. We enjoyed cosy hour between 5 - 6pm, where the hotel provides a complimentary wine/beer/non alcoholic drink in the bar/lounge area. We would happily stay here again. "

"This place is absolutely remarkable! Although we couldn't spend an entire day here, we truly appreciated the experience. The staff went above and beyond, providing exceptional service that made us feel right at home. The property itself was impeccably clean and beautifully renovated, showcasing a perfect blend of modern amenities and classic charm. Nestled in the vibrant heart of the city, it offered easy access to a multitude of attractions, all within walking distance. It was the perfect spot for sightseeing and exploring everything the area has to offer!"
