Worst VRBO experience I’ve ever had
Not sure where to start. I’ll say that the property was clean and checkin was smooth. The apartment itself was okay. It was missing some kitchen accessories, like a toaster, but overall it was okay. The range didn’t work well and the washer and dryer required payment (and the dryer must have a broken heating element because it didn’t dry). The neighborhood is very sketchy but we didn’t get mugged so that’s good. The management contact reached out to me a couple of weeks ahead and told me we couldn’t have our original unit because they gave it to someone else, that’s where things began to break down. Long story short, she offered us a different unit for $400 less, which I wasn’t happy about but we accepted. She didn’t give me the refund when she said she would and in fact all I have received to this point is $150. I contacted VRBO and they’re trying to get the rest for me. I would avoid this management company like the plague.
