“We had a wonderful time on Peaks Island. Peaks Island is a special place to me as my maternal grandfather’s family was one of the first families to settle on the island. The Libby cottage reminded me of my grandparents house on the island. My grandchildren loved the cottage. They played a lot of ping pong in the spacious yard. The porch was a lovely place to sit and spend time. The host was very nice and came and introduced herself to us. An added feature was sheets and towels were provided. Its……

“I would recommend updating the cottage and cleaning better and sprucing up the yard and exterior. The rugs were especially dirty and time to replace. The wood floors would be a better look. Unfortunately I can’t recommend staying here until some improvements are made and property is better cared for. Owner was great to work with and I don’t think would take much for this to be a great rental. Again having the kayaks was a highlight of the trip and I love Peaks. “Amazing cottage on the sea nestled in cove on east side of island. Exceeded all expectations with spectacular ocean views from 3 sides of the house. The waves crashing on those Maine rocks is my ideal. Sam is a very responsive host and delight. Will be coming back! Quintessential Maine experience ”
