"This was an amazing experience. The accommodation was clean, spacious and well presented. It accurately reflected the photographs. Outside shower and private pool with personal butler. The food was extremely good and the staff went over and above to exceed our expectations. The food was by far superior than high end restaurants. I really enjoyed the entire stay and can’t fault the experience. It was calm & peaceful in nature. I was sad to leave and will ensure I book for longer in the future."

"Not value for money. Dinner was tasteless. Disturbing was to catch a worker at 07:30 the next morning hiding under our tent while we were bathing. The wooden floor has clear gaps to look through. When confronted he said he was there to fix a problem. Complained to the manager and she only replied "Sorry for that". No investigation or request to identify the worker. Internet is non-existent and lights are inadequate in the tent. "

"Casa do Sol was quiet compared to our previous stays here but this didn't stop the staff doing everything they could to make our stay agreeable. Of particular note was the high standard of the food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Go now and enjoy as the hotel will soon be busy again. A great place to stay before you go into Kruger."

"Frontline reception staff had no authority to take any decisions. Room had bathing water that was running hot and then cold. We requested the staff to correct it but nothing was done about it. Food was of a sub optimal standard with very limited options. We were overcharged for the service we got. I would not recommend Sanbonani to international tourists, specifically from a “value for money” perspective. "

"Kruger Park Lodge in general is a very nice property. The property is very well kept, clean and well looked after. The facilities are great with the hippo hide where you can watch hippos safely as well as an extremely nice golf course on the property with impala walking on the course. "The unit itself was clean & functional. What I disliked was I booked a unit with private pool & paid extra yet was unable to utilise the pool as it was very dirty with tissues & debris. The water & surface was also not clean. I did let them know & have followed up with a request for a refund of the extra I paid but no response over one week later….."
