"Very nice lodge located on a big farm where you can go hiking, mountain biking or just enjoy the facilities (tennis, mini-golf, heated pools, etc..). "

"We hired 2 chalets' no's 528 & 529. 528 was in good shape but 589 was not. The master bedroom carpets were dirty and the chalet needed painting. We paid for half board but found the food generally very poor. Breakfast was OK with eggs cooked while you waited, the sausages and bacon were good but there was little fresh fruit. "Quaint and quiet property on the outskirts of Graskop. Host was lovely and gracious and welcoming, and provided us with helpful insights for seeing the surrounding area and a great recommendation for a bar/restaurant that was off the beaten track (the "Chubby Pig"). We had a whole "cottage" to ourselves which was more room than we needed but it had nice amenities like a full kitchen and sitting and eating areas. Bed was ok, and we did use the heated blankets! "We arrived at the resort just after 5pm and was handed our keys with a map of where our unit was and a map of the various sites in the area. We noticed the shop was well stocked. When we got to our cabana, the unit was very clean, with a chocolate for each of us, some rusks and tea/coffee packs. The resort is very tranquil. It is close to every site in the lowveld. "

"The cleaning at this property is done superficially. They need to do a deep clean as there is dirt in the corners, smell from the sheets and blanket, dust on applicances and slime in the kettle. There was a service door to the bathroom which isn't itself a problem, but I could smell cigarette smoke coming through every so often in the morning."

"We spent four nights using the lodge as a base of visiting Kruger Park. It is spacious and clean, but the combination of load shedding ( not the owner’s fault) and a lack of hot water for two whole days and no water at all for our first night, made for a less than satisfactory experience, The furniture is old and in need of refurbishing, there are no window screens, so the choice was to close everything up to keep the insects out and use the ceiling fans, or to open the windows for air and...

"What a hidden gem!!! Tucked away behind the orchards, you will find the most delightful family greeting you to go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. What a beautiful setting! We took a stroll around the orchards! Our teens said it was their favorite place to stay! Thank you thank you for such a nice relaxing place after coming out of Kruger! "

"This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! "

"Very comfortable room, food, especially oxtail, very good and great dom pedros. Service very good and attentive/friendly staff. Not much to do/see in the hotel (gym under construction). Views are lovely and sitting by the pool very relaxing. Very nice bathrooms with bath. The corridors on the ground floor very cold and austere but the room does open out onto the balcony.
