"My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights, and the property was excellent! The cabin was clean, with a beautiul view of this little aritificial pond that had ducks and fish in it. We were only a 5 minute drive from La Fortuna for groceries, and any time we communicated with Marco, we received a prompt response."

"Our family of 5 enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The raging river so close to our balcony was impressive after a few days of heavy rain. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and we had plenty of space for 5. A couple of minor issues being advertised washer/dryer was actually a paid laundry service and pillow menu did not exist when requested although advertised. "

"The house was exactly as advertised. It had a few maintenance issues that the owner is taking care of. Initially, we had a couple of major problems but the manager & the owner came out and immediately called workers out and corrected the problems. The covered porch was wonderful. Sitting out at night listening to the birds and other animals was great!The property manager was extremely helpful. My cell phone died close to the house but it's not easy to find. "I love the brand new building and all the hanging plants around the balcony was pretty. The kitchen had all ample utensils for cooking. The bathroom was beautifully put together. Not 1 bug got in the whole week I was there which for me made for a good nights sleep. There are 2 dogs next door that bark but its not too bad. "My husband and I never wanted to leave. The views of this villa are breathtaking. Santiago was able to help us with settling in quickly. Highly recommended if you have access to a vehicle. Otherwise, it may be difficult for you to reach the villa and/or utilize the hotel below for dining/etc. "

"Three generations - grandparents, sons and daughters in law and 4 grandchildren stayed. Home and casita are comfortable and spacious. House is conveniently located for excursions and strolling in town. Large kitchen and dining room table for group meals. Beautiful balconies to sit and relax. Loved staying here"

"The property had amazing views. The best part was waking up in the morning to the sound of birds and other wild life and having chef prepared breakfast :) Some reviews did mention the bugs: you're in nature; it's expected and you get used to it and they do have pest control. No AC, but they provided fans and it was comfortable. Place is MUCH larger than the pictures. Highly recommend hiring James to cook for you!! We had him prepare breakfast daily! "I would say Lost Iguana Resort was the best part of our stay in Costa Rica compared to other places in Quepos or San Jose. The resort is tucked deep inside the rainforest, this resort offered a serene retreat with stunning rooms and a tranquil ambiance. If you are a bird entusiast, this is one of the nicest places to hear the soothing symphony of bird sounds all through the day. Food was okay, we didnt really like much the dinner options offered inside the resort. Vegetarian items are less and the taste of the food is average. "
