"Listen to your instincts. The description of this property is long and detailed about how “old” and not modern it is, and what a great deal it is to be in such a desirable area. The property is located on Military Road which is busy and not quiet. At the time of this writing, Feb 2024, the wall leading up to the property is graffitied. "We were so thrilled with our stay in Pam and Raymond's stunning terrace house. Wonderful location for exploring Sydney, perfectly appointed and with gracious hosts. Loved every minute."

" A homely substantial older property with views of the harbour and city. The city is within walking distance over the bridge or via nearby ferry. With a choice lounge areas there is plenty of space to relax."

"Except for the (?) tenants at building overlooking the pool, the privacy and convenience was good. My family had a terrific time and the house was big enough for 5 kids. The laundry amenities were very well planned."

"We stayed at Zeus for 10 nights as a family with two young children. The property is on one floor which was great for our one year old, with the living space and bedrooms down opposite ends. Our four year old loved the bunk bed, and the other beds were all very comfortable. Bed linen was clean, with many pillows available. The towels were also lovely and clean with lots of spares. We did have a few teething problems (get the feeling we were the first guests to stay at this property), no hangers...

"A great place with plenty of room to spread out. 4 couples and an elderly matriarch. A great backyard (a little TLC on the plantings would be good) and patio to chill in the mornings.Close to train and shops as required in a lovely quiet area."

"Really nice spot to stay, house was very nice , gas fire was a godsend on the cold Sydney mornings , had issues with a few appliances that probably need replacement and most of the remote batteries are flat but overall a nice stay"

"Did not match suitable for 8. Was 4 queen beds, 4 bathrooms but dining for 6, tv lounge for only 4 upstairs, lounge for 3 downstairs. Good whitegoods, but tiny cups, 3 glasses, basic cutlery, limited cookery items. Disappointing. Very busy road, clear way, and limited space to turn on property. Door handle jammed to one bathroom. Aircon excellent heating. Lots of light and windows in most rooms. Service and cleaning fee high. 1 chair and tiny table the only outdoor setting.Stayed 2 nights."

"Pre-check-in for the first time received from a hotel was definitely a surprise saving time when we arrived there; free upgrade to a Studio Executive Apartment with a modern kitchenette fully equipped plus modern ensuite bathroom. By far, Quest North Sydney proved to be the best accomodation of our trip."

"The breakfast was well worth the extra money. The reception staff was very helpful. We chose not to have our room cleaned but asked for clean towels. They did not bring them until our third request. The electricity in our friends' room didn't work. It was not turned on until late in the day, after it had been requested early in the morning. Evidently it only took a flip of a switch in the control room. We wish we had not been awakened in the middle of the night by a fire alarm, reportedly caused by a faulty fuse in the alarm system."
