"The hotel has a great breakfast and has some nice views of the river and Peace Park. The lobby bar area was nice also. The staff were excellent. The only issue is that the bathrooms seemed to have steam ventilation and if you opened your bathroom door, you could set off the fire alarm. This happened on our first night at 430 am on the floor below us. A lot of us went out to the street at 430 am. The next night the alarm went off again, this time around 11 pm. "Staff was far and away the most helpful and friendly out of the four hotels my son and I stayed at while visiting Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima. We arrived early at the hotel as we were attending an afternoon Carp baseball game and when we got back later that afternoon, the staff had kindly delivered our luggage to our room. Hotel also has onsen which was great for relaxing in the evening."

"Older hotel with pretty small rooms but very close to the piece Park and lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom was noisy. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Yeah wasn't bad the heater wasn't working on g when I first arrived but it was just the switch board, just can't have it on full fans but just under is okay. You can store you bag on the day you check out for up untill 9pm which was amazing and the check in girl was super friendly and nice "
