Murfreesboro Historic Hotel

"I rarely review my stays at any hotel unless something stands out. However, this place was excellent. The staff at the front desk were so sweet, friendly, and accommodating. I truly regret not getting their names to tell their managers how wonderful they were. The hotel had that added touch with a great smell. And the beds were incredibly comfortable. I definitely recommend the place. "

"I’m not going to lie, after reading some pretty sketchy reviews and learning a night club was attached, I was a littler nervous about our stay but It was close to the softball fields and a good price so I booked. I was also thinking, “it’s only one night, we can do this!” I would definitely stay again and room 171 was great! We walked in at peak club time on a Friday night and the music was so loud. The employee gave us the room number and showed us where the it was located on the map and it look like it was right next to the club walls so I was thinking there’s no way we are going to get any sleep and I was surprisingly wrong! We actually never heard music once we were in the room. Thankfully. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of pillows and towels. Shower temp and water pressure was good. The hotel and room were clean. Mini fridge worked well. The breakfast was good the next morning. My only complaint was there was no thermostat in the room and no way to control the temperature. We like the room cooler when we sleep but weren’t able to cut the air down. That was a first for me, and we’ve stayed in a lot of hotels over the years. We didn’t get to use any of the other amenities since we were just there for one night so I can’t attest to any of those. I don’t normally leave reviews but this one was getting so beat up in reviews and only 2 stars, I felt like I should share our experience. "

"We arrived just before midnight for a comfortable night’s rest and a morning in Nashville before continuing on home. The clerk was prompt and friendly. Our room was cleverly organized and plenty spacious for all of us to unwind, my husband and I even enjoying the divider in the room to have time to decompress before sleeping without disturbing the kids’ sleep space. We all settled in and refreshed with ease, enjoying the high standard of cleanliness and appreciating a warm breakfast before our departure. Our morning in Nashville turned into an afternoon in Nashville as well, easily accessible from this location. "
