"One of the reasons I chose to stay at the country club was for the walks around the lake and seeing and feeding the many ducks and different birds on and around it. Another reason is the indoor pool. However, the whole lake was fenced off and only a few ducks etc had stayed on. The following notice was on the website. BUT it states the start date as being the 1st of Jan AND it only mentions the closure of the golf course, NOT the lake. <> The last time I stayed here, the pool was closed...

"Pods weren’t entirely clean (there we some dried coffee stains on the wall in mine) and some minor wear and tear (some small holes in the mattress cover) but apart from that it was decently alright. Just prepare yourself for the kinds of people you will meet here, as one man was very very clearly drunk yet was still allowed to check in :/"

"The hotel and staff were nice and the room was clean. I don’t think there was a lift/elevator on the property- if there was, I could not find it. So that was my only issue- I had a heavy bag I had to haul it up and down 2 flights of stairs. "
