Monteverde Spa Hotel

"The staff at Poco a Poco were so incredibly kind and accommodating, they were a pleasure every time we had a question or needed something. The amenities of the property were clean and well-maintained, having a covered pool and hot tub was such a big plus for us since we visited during the rainy season. "Parking for Monteverde cloud forest is right in front of the hotel. Hotel is deep inside with no convenience stores in walkable distance. Hotels.com had incorrect location listed which made us go in circles to find the place. We used yoga room for yoga. They have kitchen. Road the hotel is terrible with many potholes. Driving in rain was terrible experience specifically when you are coming for the first time and have incorrect directions. "

"Everything was great. Had a room with an isolated view of a garden without anyone being able to walk past our window. The property was amazing— a nice pool (with birds and occasional monkeys) and an easy 5 min walk to the center of town. And still very quiet! Hope to go back "

"The property is nice, kept neat and clean. We were there in the off season so it was very quiet. Remember there is no ac in this area of Costa Rica. They do not offer cots in the rooms so if you are traveling as a family this could be an issue. Otherwise the breakfast was wonderful, the jacuzi was covered so you can use even in the rain."

"Beautiful location, stunning mountain views and the clouds just roll on in to your balcony. Walking distance to some cool places and restaurants. They have a good shuttle service to the forest. Only feedback is some of the staffs attitudes, 2 of the employees were helpful, friendly and kind. The rest seemed snobby and almost judgemental. Could've been 5 stars if it weren't for that. We were WELL AWARE of our checkout time, yet walked by the front desk and stated we are going to pack. 5 minutes...
