Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "

"Sadly, the EV chargers didn't work, and every staff member under the age of 25 looked like they really didn't want to be there. It took the shine off our dinner, bearing in mind we are only 27 and 28, and have worked similar jobs ourselves - but it was very noticeable and off-putting. Loved the dog friendliness of the place and how accommodating it was to outdoorsy folk. Will come back for sure. "
