It is with extreme deep regret that we find it necessary to inform you how extremely disappointed my wife and I were when we stayed at your Metro Huddersfield accommodation. My husband is totally blind the mat in the entrance was curled up causing him to trip which is a safety issue in addition to this stair carpet was coming away on stairs also carpet was filthy and stained. With regards to the room the single bed mattress was blood stained the whole room was thick in dust nowhere to hang your towel in bathroom also no shower gel taps way out dated also you can not regulate the temperature it keeps going cold then scalding hot without touching taps ( I scalded my foot) hair dryer I had to fetch was absolutely thick in dust. I wouldn’t even say it was worth £10. The whole place is extremely tired and way out dated. Certainly would not recommend to anybody. Bed was comfy, towels fluffy, felt safe. decor needs to be refreshed. Starbucks next door, SPAR shop for anything you may need. 20 minute walk into Mirfield along a busy road, buses available.

Booked for bed n breakfast.. as working in the area. To be told on arrival no breakfasts... Also was not allowed to use facilities (toilet) till 2pm ( it was 1.38pm) Staff was rude and impolite cancelled visit did not stay... will not go again... I travel alot , but that was the worst ever booking.

I dont know how this place is even open, room looks like its never had a cleaner in years, the chair was taped together, there was mould and cobwebs up the walls, the bed was full of stains. The bath was minging, booked here because it was cheap and convenient.. although it was cheap id expected it to be clean!

Extreme budget hotel
This is a budget hotel and so the price reflects this. Positives first. Plenty of parking. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with plenty of tea & coffee. Mini fridge and microwave. Good shower And now the negatives Hotel is very dated with carpet on communal steps hanging off. Overpowering smell when you entered the room. No bedside cabinet on one side, however the fixing holes in the wall were on show. Same with the TV which was on the table but would have at some point been on the wall, as again the old fixing points were visible. And on the point of the long laminate table. Goodness knows what the previous guests did but there were large gouges in the laminate. The whole room was desperately in need of decorating and a new carpet. Bathroom had been cleaned but there was still mildew on the sealant. Worst of all was the mattress. The sheets were clean but the mattress was totally worn out with no firmness whatsoever. If you sat on the end of the bed, the mattress came up on the other end. Totally uncomfortable. The whole place is in desperate need of renovation to bring it up to standard. It’s very tired and uninviting. That said I suppose the price reflected this but be beware when booking and don’t expect a lot.

The property was well-placed and reasonably priced but somewhat run down. One of the celing lights did not work; one of the wall lights did not work; the fridge did not work; two of the four light switches did nothing - one perhaps because of the failed ceiling light but I have no idea what the other was supposed to do.

Dirty terrible place with immigrants sat by the entrance, i idd not feel safe at all, facilities in the room where dirty, stains on the bedding,damp,stains all over the walls,it had a horrible smell in the room, it looked nothing like the pics on their website! I would certainly not recommend this place, i now want a full refund so well see how that goes!
