"Overall, I LOVED the property, the friendliness of the staff, amenities (gym, dining options, fire pits, etc.) With that being said, I did noticed the shower door in our room was not cleaned properly and neither was the countertop in the bathroom. I also noticed water leaking around the base of the sink faucets. I only bring this up because at the prices you pay to stay at the Salamander, I expect everything to be exceptional. "This area is just so beautiful. The guest cottage was in a perfect location, neat as a pin, and well stocked for us and our pup. We enjoyed the wildlife such as fox, turkey, geese, and deer. Lynn and Jonas were the quintessential hosts - and generous as well. Communication was very easy. We so appreciated the local wine and treats - it really made us feel at home. We will be back!"
