"Excellent hotel near Berkeley campus with a rich history. The room we stayed in was comfortable and quiet. The location makes it easy to get to the campus. The breakfast at the hotel was slow in service and be irritated for a long wait. But the food was well-prepared. Would stay here again. "

"Great space for longer term stays. They are always friendly the desk, but the breakfast, just get your own. It’s no more than milk and cereal that you can’t take to your room to eat. You have to sit in a weird cafeteria. And the women are very very very mean. "

"Overall the hotel was very clean. You needed a room key to use the bathrooms down by the breakfast area I assume to keep people from off the street using them but they could have used a little more attention. The bar area was nice but under staffed. Lots of people gathered there with take out food. Shower was great but our toilet didn't flush all the time. "
