It's in a great location, with lots of restaurants nearby and less than a five minute walk to the Viktualienmarkt. The staff were really welcoming and chatty. The rooftop bar was a great addition too with views over Munich. "

It is located, whereby depending on your room, you may look out onto a busy road with offices at eye level, but this did not seem to disrupt our stay too much. The bathroom is slightly outdated but does fit with the aesthetic of the room. You can hear some street noise but overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay for a few days. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice."

"The lobby was always clean. Staff was very helpful. Room was spacious. Room was clean when I arrived but housekeeping only occasionally refilled toilet paper and clean towels. The room was never cleaned or vacuumed the whole two weeks. It was occasionally loud with doors slamming. Hotel is very close to transportation. Easy to get around from hotel. Hotel does not have a restaurant or bar. They do have a breakfast area that serves food. It's not worth the money. The lady who cleans and helps...

"The unusual decor is what first attracted me to the Cocoon. The Alps adventure theme was compelling. The elevator simulated a gondola ride up the mountains! The location was ideal - convenient to Munich's main train station. The 'green' features, such as the need to use your room card to have lighting, were not explained at check-in. I suspect that this was partly due to a language issue. Overall, Cocoon was a good choice for a visit to Munich."
