Lovey staff and good sized, clean room, though I think I may have been upgraded. Overall good stay. The only thing I would say is that the rooms are not sound proofed and the quality of the bedding is not the best for sensitive skin as it is a bit rough.

Hotel staff extremely rude, rooms had stains and bodily fluid, unsafe area with a high chance of getting mugged. Depressing area. Need to go through 20 fire doors to get to your room. Asked night staff for toothbrush but said they no longer offer that service. Turns out he was just lazy and didn’t want to come up. Ridiculous how this is rated so high, bots or company hiring writers

Staff were great. BUT. No parking (are you kidding?? In London and a 4 star hotel does not have parking?) I got a $110 parking fine illegally parked for 10 min while we went to get our bags. Thanks.

Great sized room, large beds ( room smelt slightly like a smoking room). Bar and dinner was great, close to the best haddock and chips we've ever eaten (more peas). Breakfast was very busy but still great service.

Good location, very close to the tube station but our room was in the basement and we could hear trains every few minutes. There was very limited natural light as the window was frosted. Also our shower door screen was broken. I think it is a basic hotel with nice styling. Would stay again but would ask for a non-basement room.

The Maldron at Finsbury Park is a near-perfect stay—with one tiny, screeching flaw. The rooms are modern, the service top-notch, and the breakfast will fuel your day of London adventures. But then, there’s the other soundtrack. Behind the hotel runs a set of train tracks, and with every passing locomotive, you get a bonus London experience: the full, uncut symphony of screeching wheels. It’s like the trains wanted to remind you they exist. Frequently. If you’re a deep sleeper, no problem—you’ll snooze right through it. But if you’re a light sleeper, pack earplugs or prepare for an unintentional trainspotting session from your pillow. All in all, the Maldron shines in every other way, but beware of the “railway serenade” that might add some uninvited excitement to your nights!
