"Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the lady at the spa and pool was by herself and more staff are needed in that area. As a former lifeguard, it took 5 of us to clean sauna and poolside etc. Expecting one person to cope is unacceptable."

"Myself and 2 girl friends shared a triple room for a weekend shopping in London cant fault anything apart from no lock on bathroom door. 2min walk to nearest tube at Russell square "

"It is a large hotel, conveniently located. The hotel has restaurants on the property plus several within walking distance. On the negative side, the hotel interior is rather old and showing its age. The lobby is often crowded and noisy."

"Lovely new hotel, nice bar, great breakfast and friendly staff at a good price for central London. Spotlessly clean with everything you might need available in your room. Quite and peaceful and check in and out was super quick and easy. Beware the toilet and shower were basically frosted glass boxes inside the room in some rooms and you can see the person you’re sharing with on the toilet a few feet from the bed - fine for a couple but maybe a bit uncomfortable if sharing with a friend! "

"Metro- type hotel, with old type furniture in reception areas, modern rooms in old buildings. Lift, accessible if required, smallish room and bathroom but functional. LED lighting and good climate control. Hot shower, small step, good lighting in bathroom. An exhaust fan would be good, but may not be possible. Large open space at foot of bed/s which could be great for luggage if a bench shelf went from side to side. Could double as seating too. Otherwise it's luggage on the floor which is a...

"Small room, you need to buy coffee or tea on the lobby. Very small elevator. 5 minutes walk to St Pancras station. "

"St. David hotel is very quaint, offering a very quality experience at a good price. It's a 2min walk to Paddington Station and I also found it easy to catch a black cab at the Hilton next to the station. Very quiet and safe area. I will always choose this over paying more to stay in the chaos of central London. St. David is not a good place for families and young children. Perfect for solo travelers, travelers with a friend (two twin beds were perfect for us) and for couples. "
