"Thi hotel had great large rooms with a comfy bed, a bathtub and a separate shower, and even a bidet! They were super helpful with laundry and transport, when we needed it. The breakfast was really good, they made us omelettes and poached eggs on different mornings. They also granted us early check in and late check out. The spa and restaurant were also great, I had 2 massages and we had a couple of really nice meals and drinks at the Canoe House"

"The property claimed it was a bed and breakfast, but it was a dorm type of living. I arrived at night and all I saw were single men outside at the gazebo. I was traveling with my family for an emergency death in the family and this did not feel like a safe space for me, my family, or my belongings. I decided to go to Palaysia for $30 more than this price. Do not stay here unless you are single and leave no valuable items in your room!"

"Disappointing since I stayed there a long time ago. It’s under new management who have not kept up the hotel. The restaurant and bars are closed. The complimentary breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, white toast —no jam, butter, rce jook, spicey rice noodles, picked vegetables, cabbage slaw, Black Chinese tea.
