"I had a wonderful visit at the Portopia Hotel. My room had all of the toiletries I needed plus a set of pajamas and slippers. When I ordered room service, the staff came to my room to take my order. I would definitely recommend this hotel as an American visiting Japan. However, it is on Port Island so I had to tax in Kobe."

It was relaxing for my family to enjoy and be together, and I imagine it would make a beautiful romantic getaway. The special kaiseki dinner was one of the best I had during my stay in Japan. We always feel home at this ryokan by the friendly, polite and professional staff. Our favorite room with our own private onsen is just amazing and has all the amenities we need for our short stays.
