We took two 13-year old girls and stayed in Marathon as our center spot. We flew to FL and then we drove down from Miami and got in around 5pm after stopping at the Publix for groceries. “Love the area. Beautiful grounds, warm pool, nice beach, fishing pier and people were very friendly. Key Colony Beach is a wonderful island with many activities going on. We enjoyed the tennis and pickleball courts. We did not use the bikes provided since we brought our own, but they are very nice. The condo definitely needs updating. “Well appointed and beautifully decorated 2 BR and 2 bathroom condo on 2nd floor of the building (stairs) with everything you need to be comfortable. We cooked breakfast and lunch at the condo and enjoyed dinner in various local restaurants. Wifi worked great. Note that washer/dryer (2/load) is on floor of the unit. Access to beach (on property) with chairs and ocean swimming - beautiful. Parking included- we ventured to other areas of the Keys (Key West, Bahia Honda State Park, Sombrero Beach).……
