"The owner was very flexible with me getting the house booked. Our initial stay had to be cancelled shortly before the trip due to the cold weather with possibility of ice in January and was very helpful in getting me in at a different date while helping in costs/refund."

"Diane was very welcoming and was genuinely excited to have us as guests. Her place is absolutely perfect for a getaway. You can watch the sunset over the lake while sitting on your porch or sitting on the beach area. "Red hen was 15 minutes from wedding and reception. The house was very clean and peaceful.Due to the early season there were some leaves around the patio, but this was a non issue for us. "House had everything we needed. The pool and backyard were beautiful but it was too cold to fully enjoy them. Communication was great with the owner. "The backyard needs some TLC, trash needs picked up, torn curtains on deck, etc.. - we were disappointed to see the pool in such need of cleaning, especially after being asked to sign a waiver to use the pool. Overall, the house itself took care of our needs, we fit comfortably and had a nice stay. "

"Beautiful property, well maintained. We met there as a business team and had plenty of space to work. Kitchen was well-equipped (best I have seen). Everything was clean and tidy.The only negatives were the two king beds in the master suites. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the topper made it worse. The contract you are required to sign is extremely tight and wouldn't allow us to have a couple of other business associates over to meet.A great place for a big family gathering."

Wonderful Stay

"Staff at the hotel was outstanding. Promptly switched my room when requested, assisted with making copies of documents for a meeting the next day, provided information about their shuttle and my needs to go to a local HQ of my airline. Condition of the hotel was another outstanding element. Everything was clean and well-cared for as was the room. You can tell that Housekeeping is on their "A" Game at this hotel. Appears to be family owned and operated and the young couple that assisted me with checkin and other requests was both very kind and very accommodating. Definitely my new favorite hotel in the DFW area. I will be back!"
