Loved it!
My kids and I had an awesome time at Seaside Cottages. The place is gorgeous, with amazing views of the hills, and a few steps we were at the top of the dunes overlooking the ocean. Kids loved to feed the chicken, hand pick raspberries and the pool was a great bonus! Thanks for having us!

Short break
we have stayed at this property several times and always enjoy our stay. This time the weather was, as we all know, not typical weather. Heavy rain stopped us travelling for a couple of hours and the first night was very cold, only 2degrees in the morning so a heater in the bathroom would have been welcome .

Tricky to find, but absolutely the best views once we found the cottage.
Signage to Glen Tara Cottage can be improved. Once we found it, the views were so picturesque, absolutely beautiful… the rolling hills and green countryside including the cows are a sight to remember. Will definitely go back!! It was peaceful and serene. My border collie loved it and he was so relaxed at Johanna Beach. There were so many other border collies for him to play with - he was in his element. The place was relatively clean, just the bathroom design of the sink was lacking space to put essentials. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, amongst nature, this is the perfect place. Very romantic for couples.

I love Johanna beach
We stayed at 2 of the beautiful cabins. Both were well equipped and clean.
Unfortunately for our teenager the wifi wasn’t working at the second cabin ( I couldn’t have cared less though!)
I do think though when offered an ‘upgrade’ to a bigger cabin the WiFi should work. Also maybe be offered an extra 3 hours stay for the last morning as packing and unpacking and relocating turned out to be more time consuming and less advantageous than was first thought.
Overall the stay was otherwise excellent.

Beautiful part of the world.
The house was sitting at a great vantage point offering excellent views. Inside the house os really well appointed and comfortable.
Did get some pretty wet weather coming off the bite so just be ready for some storm watching (really impressive to watch) wood heater was great at keeping the house nice and warm. Also had a 4g mobile broadband system with decent speeds so that helped when you couldn't go outside.
Good full kitchen for meals or about 40 minutes down to Apollo Bay for dinner. Also and cannot stress this enough, complimentary fresh farm eggs.
Great place if you're looking for a nice break away from it all. Definitely a place worth a second visit.

Excellent and enjoyable stay
We had an enjoyable stay. The home was cosy, clean and well maintained. It is a self sufficient home. Everything was provided. The home overlooked farm land so it was a very good escape to the country.

An outstanding property, charming rural atmosphere with 4 delightful cottages set privately apart.
Dear Liam, we were all so impressed with the high standard of Glen Tara Cottage. Everything was spotless & tidy, the kitchen so well equipped & the beds very comfy. Such a huge range of books & magasines & very helpful to have your maps & local information in hand. We loved the wood heater & generous supply of firewood & were intrigued by the waxy firefighters. They worked so well! Very peaceful rural setting with the lush rolling hills, happy cows & the roar of the ocean nearby. We truly loved our stay & felt most replenished. We would definitely return & recommend your cottages to others. Annie Brennan, Tasmania.

A wonderful peaceful experience at Glen Tara
An off the main Great Ocean Road about 3 kilometres Glen Tara is isolated and a very modern and beautifully furnished cottage. The views are unsurpassed in their rural beauty with stunning rolling hills and if you are there at the right time a beautiful sunset can be a sight to be seen. The cottage was very comfortable and there were fresh eggs for breakfast already in the fridge upon arrival. Vegetables can be picked from the veggie garden and there is a swimming pool on the property too. Our dogs enjoyed being able to enjoy the fully fenced back garden and also a walk to nearby Johanna Beach. A great couple of days stay for us and we will be back in the future. Thanks Liam.

Return visit, still very good
Isolated but very modern cottage, perfectly placed to support the Great Ocean Walk. All facilities in the house are excellent, plus there is a swimming pool and free chook eggs and vegetables from the famer's garden! Stayed here before and will stay again. Thanks Liam for such a wonderful place.
