"Cosy hotel with fluffy mattress and duvet - totally enjoyable! Although booked king double bed room, got twin instead. Had to move beds together and deal with 2 separate blankets instead of one big! Also had some bugs in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and nice, super tasty breakfast too! Mixed feelings and felt it was overpriced - obviously because of location as facilities were average. "

"First off the reception has a strong stench of cigarette smoke. On check out the hotel demanded extra money than what was listed on the book page. They listed ¥150 per person per night which was fine however they wanted another ¥350 per person for heating cost!?!? Which was never listed during booking. The purpose of having hotel booking platforms are to list everything down so there are no surprises!"

"Stayed three nights to ski the nearby resorts. Easy, and free, parking right in front of the hotel. The building itself seems new. Check in was quick. Very friendly lady at the counter. Nice onsen on the first floor. Very nice breakfast. Unfortunately, the bed was very hard, uncomfortably hard, and there didn't seem to be many restaurants around the hotel. So I ate one night in the hotel's restaurant. While the food was good, ordering it was difficult. The restaurant uses a QR code system, so...

"Two adults two teens stayed in a Quad room (2 singles 2 rollaway beds) in Jan 2025 for 5 nights and separate corner sofa. The hotel is huge with different wings so need to get your bearings. Nagano was our base for day trips to snow monkeys, Matsumoto, and to ski. The hotel is older (winter Olympics HQ) but was generally well maintained. Front desk staff were amazing, they had limited English but used a translator, and so friendly every time we passed and so helpful booking restaurants and...

"I chose this hotel for its extremely convenient location right at the train station and for the amazing price. The room decor is dated, but we did not care. It was kind of cool actually… Sort of retro high tech! The bath tub is so deep. Amazing for a soak after lots of walking. The staff are DARLING and absolutely wonderful. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are excellent. 10/10- would recommend to a friend!"
