"I stayed here for two weeks. This hotel has everything! The breakfast buffet is delicious with a large variety of both Japanese and western food. There are public baths, a gym, a convenience store, and even coin laundry which was great during a long stay. And the location is perfect. There is an entrance to the vast underground shopping area just a short walk up the street from the hotel entrance. Train stations are connected to the underground shopping area. The cleaning staff was also very friendly and really made me feel welcome during my stay. Plus, you really can't find a better price in this area."

"Our family of 3 throughly enjoyed this hotel and the location. We would stay here again. It is so convenient to be able to walk everywhere from there. You are minutes walk from train station, Uniqlo, all the restaurants, close to Gion. After a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to come back and enjoyed all the delicious food around the hotel. We chose the superior twin room. Twin bed was a bit small for myself and my son, and they were kind to suggest that we make the 2 twins into a king. That turned out perfect for 3 people. The extra space was great for our family. Plus, their breakfast buffet was delicious. Just excellent for our 1st trip to Kyoto. "

"It was great! No complaints over here. The sky spa is absolutely amazing and nice touch to the hotel that was right on the river. It even had a great coffee cafe down stairs on the first floor that was a wine bar. Also the lounge access allowed you to drink for free and snack for free which was really nice when trying to plan things or have a break from walking around. "
