"pet friendly with parking right outside of the room. plenty of green space for the pooch. small town option compared to staying in New Haven. local grocery and dining is a few miles up the road. the "suites" part of it gives you more square footage and a kitchenette, but the kitchen is not stocked with any cookware or silverware or plates. in our room the toilet flush handle was broken."

"This was a great spot to stay with friends, with great separate living areas and a great central living room to gather. The location is minutes from downtown Guilford and was very convenient to do and see everything. I would not recommend bringing small children because there is so much beautiful artwork all around the house, but it’s a beautiful retreat for older kids/teens and adults! "

"The apartment was just as listed. The kitchen was well equipped for easy/quick meals, including 2 burners, toaster, pots and pans, dishes. We didn't cook there at all, other than use the Keurig and microwave. The double bed was a challenge for the 2 of us, but we made it work. "Our host was most accommodating and helpful with our experience once we arrived with helpful tips and things to do with grandchildren during a week when a tropical storm was scheduled to make landfall. We leveraged the host's dining suggestions as well as the great property which included a large well-landscaped yard with flower gardens, plenty of parking and an outdoor basketball hoop set at 10 feet for my grandchildren to shoot around when it was not raining, all in a very private and upscale...
