"Breakfast was always delicious, and the coffee is amazing. Staff went out of their way to help us out, and Leo and Alba gave great advice on where to go and what to do. You can order tours of the Rosario Islands through the hotel. I got used to the cold water showers quickly."

"The room was very clean upon arrival. The staff were all accommodating. The room is perfect for a solo traveler. Only thing I disapprove of was being unaware that you had to pay for eating from the minibar. I grabbed a water and was later charged at checkout. This should be included in room information. Otherwise, my stay at GHL Arsenal was great. "

"Beautiful hostel about a 10 minute walk away from the center of the old fortified walled city of Cartagena. This place has a nice ambiance with really friendly staff that treat you really nice. Some people might think of the area as a little scummy, but I did not have any problems and even walking home at 1am, I had some locals shout at me "welcome to Cartagena" I thought this was nice. I would recommend this hostel."

"The room was basic as expected, good air conditioning and fan, the bed had seen better days and sheets were ropey. Good shower and bathroom was clean. Nice to sit on the roof terrace and watch the sun go down. The young lady who was on reception when we arrived was nice and helpful, there was another woman who made the breakfast and monitored the door at night who was pretty miserable and not overly polite. All in all not too bad for the money and the location is great being one block behind...

"Kind, courteous staff. Only stayed here one night when arriving in Cartagena before heading to the islands. Wish we had come back here for the second part of our trip in Cartagena. Convenient location to lively nightlife, restaurants, etc yet no right on the corner and rooms are away from the street so they are *quiet* at night. "
