"We stayed in the motor lodge portion of the property. It was very affordable. The grounds are really nice and we enjoyed dinner in the tavern as well as drinks later on in the evening. It has such a wonderful colonial New England feeling we absolutely loved the atmosphere. (We were in the lower level.)The bake shop was a wonderful spot to hang out for coffee and pastries complementary in the morning. Our overall experience exceeded our expectations and we would stay there again for sure. "

"We only stayed one night and got in late, but found the hotel comfortable and accommodating. The bar was closed, unfortunately, so staff recommended dinner at their steak house across the street. The food was great, but a little more expensive than what we were looking for as a late night dinner."
