"This was a good location. I stayed here with my mom. We found it convenient to walk into downtown from the hotel. I was happy that there was free off street parking. That was the deciding factor me in the end. The front desk provided excellent service. Every question I had, they were gracious and helpful. There are a few cosmetic issues - peeling plaster or paint in the shower in one room and a broken bedside light in the other, but the nice location and parking lot parking mattered WAY...

"Much larger swimming pool than we imagined and the beaches a few minutes in the car are white sand. The garden is quite large and there is decking and plenty of seats outside. Nextflix available and wifi was good. The beds are a mixture of single double and sofa beds. Arnaud the owner was very friendly. For us, on prior request he allowed three small dogs."

"Great location, clean and well serviced. I didn't pay attention to how many stars (2) when I booked, so was a bit shocked when I learned about it later. This place far exceeded my expectations. Front staff spoke enough English and I spoke enough French that everything was great. I arrived early and they stored by luggage for me. Also, they booked a cab for early early AM pickup for me. This place is a gem!"

"This does appear to have once been a grand hotel, but it has since been neglected. While the entrance area and staircase still look impressive, the room was in poor repair, with a dated 1980s/90s feel. However, it was spacious, with a Nespresso coffee machine and two BBC English channels. The breakfast room was grim and the food average. Overall, too expensive for the poor quality. The hotel desperately needs money spending on it."

"I arrived quite late in the evening due to a canceled flight. Pierre, the night attendant was so very nice, accommodating and professional. He made sure the process of check-in went smoothly. He even prepared me a late night meal as I had eaten a day, all at 1 AM in the morning. At 6:30 in the morning when I had to depart, Pierre was still there working hard. "The ocean view makes up for any shortcomings, however the shower hose is awkard and only gives a relatively low pressure. There's an accessible lift to avoid the steps if you have a pushchair, wheelchair or heavy luggage but noone expains that this in in the basement area so you end up lifting heavy luggage up steps and slopes. Lovely pots have no plants in, so creates a neglected first impression and there's no bedside tables. "
