First, I would like to mention that I booked this trip through VRBO. Advice to anyone thinking about booking, make sure to download the iTrip app. I never received the door code from iTrip. The cleaning crew was there cleaning when we arrived for check in at 3:00 pm. Looking back at my email, I had a notification that the cleaning crew was running behind. This is stipulated I’m the agreement that checkin could be as late as 5:00 pm. The cleaning crew was extremely nice and helped us by contacting the property manager for the key code. We didn’t see any issues on check in. Everything was as expected. The location is wonderful! My 8 year old daughter brought a friend, so having the 2 twin sized beds was perfect! The last day, we stayed away most of the day. When we returned that evening in, we found the light in the bathroom, the hallway, the kitchen, and the outlets in those areas not working. We checked the breaker box and none were tripped. I attempted to contact the property manager about this issue, she told me the first day to if I had any issues. I first tried to text. I had no response in 30 minutes, so I tried to call, had no answer, so I left a voicemail. With it being the last evening, we had 1 shower to share with 4 people and because we were getting up early the next morning to head home. I waited a little while, and decided to look into the agreement to see if there was a different number to contact. I found one, and ended up talking to someone over maintenance. He was nice and ended up calling in an electrician who came out. Evidently, this is an ongoing issue, because the electrician who came out ended up talking to someone else who had been called out with the same issue. The GFI outlet behind the couch (we couldn’t see) needed to be reset. This took care of the issue. I’m disappointment the property manager never contacted me back. With it being an electrical issue, my inquiry should’ve been taken more seriously. Even if the property manager wasn’t the on call person or couldn’t get to me immediately, as simple call back or text letting me know something would’ve been more professional. All other parts of our visit and stay were pleasant.
