"The apartment was so cute and located in such an amazing spot. We have twins that are 4 and every morning we would grab Starbucks and walk across the street to the park for the girls to play. We were able to paddle bordin the bay and lay out by the surf! We will be back!! We will be back!"

"The stay was fantastic! The beach was less than 100 steps away! Be warned we have a 4 Runner and it wouldn't come close to fitting in the parking spot. Street parking in December was decent. Only tiny complaint is that the pull out couch's mattress should be replaced with something thicker. "

"Love the location. Being close to the beach is a priority for us so less than a block’s walk is ideal. The place was comfortable and clean. He all we needed to rest and cook meals. Will definitely recommend this location to those who like a cozy place close to the beach. "

"Easily accessible to the Bay. Lovely drive throughout the area. Downtown was not far. Holiday traffic time versus regular commuter time so the timing of our stay worked well even for the airports, that being day after Christmas to day after New Year. YearGreat to "

"Loved working with the owner, the location is perfectly central to all of Mission Beach activities and the beachfront. The house was well equipped and easy to be in/keep clean. The only slightly funky thing is that the upstairs residents' patio is directly in front of the living room windows. Luckily they did not use it while we were there. All else was great! Thank you!"

"The LOCATION is the absolute best for this little gem. Beds are super comfy! Bathroom was very tiny, but completely doable. Owners responsive. Olives cafe was just around the corner and had delicious breakfast. Cheap rentals was very friendly and convenient to the beach. Would recommend! "

"We loved our stay here! The place was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We cooked everyday, and had a little trouble with the stove at first, but Ryan kindly came over to show us how to operate it. Their place is close to everything-the beach, restaurants, airport and train station. Restaurants and beaches are very close within walking distance. You do not need a car to stay here. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Mike's Place is basic, nothing fancy, but it's super clean and quite close to the ocean. Communication by the host was excellent. But that said, they might consider a couple things for improvement: supply some coffee and/or tea for guests; and amend the check-in and check-out times. We're all used to 3pm check-in and 11am check-out times, but their 4pm check-in time and 10am check-out are a bit extreme and cuts 6 hours out of a 2 day booking.
