"We were looking for a place near Harbor Springs big enough for a family of five. This was the perfect blend of rustic and modern amenities and was everything we hoped for. Short drive to HS and Petoskey. Hosts had lots of extras available (coffee, creamer, ketchup, water, Coke, popcorn etc) which was a nice bonus. Would highly recommend!"

"The cottage was clean and every amenity was thought of. The wi-fi was out due to a lightning strike, but we spent so much time away on the lakes that it was a non-issue. We enjoyed meeting the hosts and would absolutely recommend this place!"

"Modernized. Clean. Comfortable beds/furniture. Clarify ‘directions’. Name of road not on any street signs. Actually is the highway (add that info!). Drove by x 2 looking for crossroad; property drive RIGHT OFF (two line) highway. Much traffic noise, daytime. Good restaurant across street. Group of cabins on pretty inland lake. One property building is ‘fish cleaning house’, so must be good fishing, here. 🐟"

"My husband and dog stayed here with another couple and their dog for a long weekend. The home is lovely - so clean, updated, well-stocked, and nicely decorated. The setting is quiet and set in the woods with a lovely deck, porch, balcony, and yard. Communication with the host was terrific and everything was easy. This is one of the best rentals we’ve stayed at and I’d book it again in a second!"

"From the moment we turned in the drive you could tell this was a great choice. We stayed here for a couple of days while visiting the area for our wedding anniversary. This small cottage in the woods was perfect for two people and the attention to all the details was apparent. It was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and quiet. The attention the owners have given to making this a special place for their guests is obvious. We would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area."

"Our first time to Michigan and just absolutely LOVED this trip and property! A beautiful view of the water from the living room! Walkout access to the beach and pet friendly! The small town of Harbor Springs was a joy to visit, so was a drive through the Tunnel of Trees. Highly recommend this property! Gene was a pleasure to work with! Will be visiting again next year!"

"My family and I had a wonderful time. The house felt secluded but you are in driving distance of everything. The property was clean. The beds felt hard at first but we all slept great. I was able to check out the little stream behind the house, but it didn’t have too much water yet. My dog really enjoyed it as well. Thank you for letting us take a little break from life to enjoy the view and stay. We appreciate it!"

"It was my first time in Petoskey, it’s a beautiful town and the location of the cottage was perfect. Beautiful scenery, quiet and relaxing. The cottage was a little worn and not very clean. The carpets were stained and the back door screen was torn. But the location and scenery made up for it. Will definitely stay again."

"The location was perfect for skiing at Nubs Nob and a short drive into Petoskey. The house had plenty of space for everyone, well appointed kitchen, beautifully decorated and very comfortable all around. Would highly reccomend, we very much enjoyed our stay. 10/10"

"2 bedroom cabin right on the water. Very clean and cozy. House comes with nice furniture, new applances, TVs and comfortanle beds. Each room has a great view over the lake. House has 2 kayaks, hot tub, boat access, fire pit. Hiking and biking trail access. House is pet friendly and owner very nice and helpful. Lots of information on sightseeing and restaurants. Will definitively come again to this wonderful cabin."

"This place was awesome and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay: cooking space and utensils, access to the lake, space for the kids, plenty of towels, Internet and tv, a kayak, a dock onto the lake, a porch swing… The fire pit and the sunset lake views made it extra magical. The only downside was the lack of ventilation/cooled air to the second story where most of the beds were. A big thank you to Jimmy for hosting us here and we are looking forward to our next planned stay...

"Hostess was very helpful and communicated very well. The house was very nice inside and out and accomidations, (water, ice, condiments, snacks, shampoo)were also very nice of the hostess to leave us. Location was perfectly between petosky and Walloon Lake so you get the best of both cities."

"Had a great time. Primo spot for fishing and getting out on inland waterway. River location is nice for docking since you are far enough down river to be out of wind."
