"This place was perfect for my family and 2 year old australian shepherd. The manager and owner are both awesome and answered any questions we had. We loved being able to walk to one of the restaurants in old town and taking the food back to enjoy in our cottage. Our dog was so happy to have his very own fenced backyard. We also got to walk to church to attend a beautiful Sunday mass. We’d love to stay here again and highly recommend staying here."

"My family had a great time visiting the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park which was so close to this home. We could easily take a zoo break and eat lunch at home, picking up food from a selection of so many nearby restaurants. Grocery shopping was also easy with several local choices within 10 minutes. Host was quick to respond to questions and provided helpful snacks and drinks for when we didn’t have time the first night to shop yet. "

"The house is located in a great central spot close to all the great San Diego attractions. Check-in was easy once I received instructions. House was clean and it was well stocked, plenty of space for my family of 5. I didn’t have any issues. The weather was nice. I would definitely consider staying again, perhaps in the summer so we can take a swim in the pool since it was too cold this time."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. Kent was a gracious host and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to see. The one bedroom apartment is spacious and comfortable. There are big windows everywhere so it is bright and cheery. The windows overlook the fantastic gardens that Kent has build over the years. Every view makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The apartment was very clean and all the amenities we needed were provided. We hope to be back soon....

"Beautiful property with an easy check-in process. My flight was a little early so I reached out the property manager who let my family and I check in earlier than scheduled. We did have an issue with the upstairs neighbors being a little loud but management was able to get that squared away. 5 stars from me."

All the bedrooms had 1 bed not 2 or bunk bed which was a big plus.this property had enough to keep us busy when we were not out exploring the city and best of all the owner Daniel was very prompt in addressing a WiFi issue that was resolved immediately "

"This was a great home with all the amenities. We were able to walk to Balboa Park, Little Italy, and the Embarcadero. (we were a party of all adults). It is also under 2 miles from the airport, which is convenient, but there is no escaping that you are very close to the flight path. The owner is very responsive and we had a good time hanning out there in our down time."

"Let me start by saying, if you have any problems with stairs, this place is NOT for you!! This hilltop home is absolutely beautiful and has excellent views. There were 8 adults in our group; all men. There were enough “beds” to accommodate all of them. Kitchen was pretty much stocked, though if you are cooking for a large group, there aren’t many pots/pans for large meals. Home was not as thoroughly clean as I would have expected it to be - lots of dirt/dust and crud under beds. Master bathroom...

"When we first arrived one of the beds looked as if it had been slept in and not changed. Thankfully there were extra sheets we could use. Overall the place was clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect as far as distance to everything, however, there were quite a few homeless people in the area. Though it was our first time in San Diego so I’m not sure if that’s everywhere in the city. The yard was perfect for the dogs. We enjoyed our stay and would come back in the future. "
