"Great place to stay "

"The grounds of the resort are amazing. The gardens and beach area were beautiful. The dive shop offered great options including fishing. The one thing that I would change, would be to add cocktails to your menu options. It seemed strange not to be able to order an acholic based cocktail at a beach resort. "

"We had a great stay at this hotel. Our room and the grounds were spotless, we entered and the room smelled like fabuloso. Service was excellent. Check in was easy. Bartenders were excellent. Pool was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. Rent a golf cart though, it was fantastic. "

"Our stay was amazing. We booked a studio, which was very spacious and had a huge shower and decent sized bathroom. I didn’t realize when I booked it that it didn’t have a patio, but now we know for next time. The grounds were incredible and so well kept. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the area and felt safe with all the onsite staff and security on premises. They also did complimentary laundry service daily, which was sooooo helpful with being able to pack light and go home with clean laundry. Anna at the front desk helped us so much and was always accommodating. We had an emergency back home while visiting and she helped us print forms and get them sent back out. Overall, the stay was great and we would definitely book here again. "

"Shaka Caye is a MUST for people who enjoy the tranquility of a tropical island, but have the option for ADVENTURE. Not only is there much to do on the island (kayaking, sand volleyball, paddle boarding, local sea life, a near-by caye you can explore all on your own-) you can charter a boat to enjoy Caye Caulker, snorkeling and cave tubing. My partner and I aimed to do charter a boat for an inland-adventure, but ultimately were so enchanted by what the island had to offer we just stayed put :) Shaka Caye did help coordinate a fly-fishing expedition, with success! Shout-out to Jamal- The staff at Shaka Caye was stellar from the moment we got on the tender to the island. They were friendly, shared about themselves, were fun to talk to socialize with and beyond accommodating. From Obi showing off his carefully-crafted-creative cocktails with Michael by his side, to Daisy making sure things ran smoothly, Percy giving us the low-down about meals with his charismatic spin- we were full of joy the entire time. Glenda in the office even let me quickly borrow her scanner- Please also understand not once were we hungry, and everything we were served was top-notch and came with options. The rooms were beautiful, modern (tasteful) temperature controlled and well-kept. If you are considering Shaka Caye for your island vacation, do not hesitate!"

"Very nice, up to date rooms. The food on the property was good. Convenient cart ride to other restaurants and Secret Beach. Private beach on property, with paddle boards, and glass bottom canoes available."
