"Hotel has THE prime position on the harbour front. It is typical old style Italian, however parts are now looking a bit "tired" and whole building inside & out is in need of some TLC & refurbishment without losing its essential style & character. Place is very clean & staff are helpful. Breakfast has a vast array of cold buffet for continental b'fast lovers but hot food limited to scrambled egg + 1 other item. Hotel Colonna
4.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (108)
"An unhappy experience. When we arrived at our hotel we were told it was closed due to a "technical problem" and that we were booked in a different hotel. While the other hotel was very well situated, it was tired looking, no wi-fi in the rooms, and we had the worst room in the hotel, looking out on a service courtyard instead of a sea view. Heating rails in the bathroom did not work. No window or extractor fan in the bathroom either."
