「Our vacation at the Sea Colony in Bethany Beach was very good. The oceanfront condo was very well appointed, the view from the balcony was great, and the owners were very helpful and attentive to our needs and gave us great ideas for local restaurants. Walking on the beach and on the boardwalk is always relaxing for us, and it was just steps from the condo. We would recommend this condo to all who want to enjoy Bethany Beach, and would definitely rent the same condo when we return to Bethany...

「At first glance, everything appeared to be in decent order. The more we unpacked and established ourselves is when the dirt, dust and cobwebs appeared. The closet door that appeared to cover the HVAC unit had fluffy tufts of dust and dirt stuck to the slats. The counters were greasy. There was residual food left in the bottom of the kitchen trashcan. The shower curtain had mold, dirt and hair stuck to it - I just went ahead and bought a new one and replaced it. 「Just returned from a 6 night stay at this Bethany Beach home. Firstly, the home itself and the gated community were beautiful. We always felt safe and comfortable. The house is as advertised. Nice balance of aesthetics and function. Close enough to downtown Bethany, the beach & food options but far enough away too. The only drawback was the proximity to Hwy 1 for noise. We unfortunately stayed during Bike Week in Ocean City without knowing and the constant stream of motorcycles was not pleasant....

It was tucked far enough away from the highway that we couldn't easily hear all the motorcycles crossing over the bridge, and in the morning had a secluded view looking south over the bay where we could see the sun rise, and birds flying about. When they entered the property, they were harassed at the gate when they entered the code and told to turn around - necessitating going back onto the highway.
