"Christine’s place was perfect for our weekend stay. We were able to easily uber to downtown Detroit and were super close to great shops and restaurants in ferndale. The neighborhood is cute and quiet and the fenced in backyard space is a big bonus. Parking is a little tricky due to the layout of the streets in the neighborhood but we figured it out pretty quickly. The house itself is clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. "

"Our pre-stay interaction was ok after the shock of the owner not seeming to be aware of our reservation. But was kind enough to let us pay for an early arrival.What we found when we arrived: Snowy, wet day and not mats in front of the door...track snow/slush into the house. Barely any heat in the main living area...registers warm, but not blowing heat. Shower with no pressure. No hair dryer. Washer and dryer not working. This property was not prepared for a stay. But the view is...

"I needed a place to stay with my dog and this place was very good. It was clean and convenient. I was a little nervous staying alone in a neighborhood I didn't know, but the school across the street made me feel better. I would suggest that the host make the lock on the back door more sturdy. My son who visited for dinner was a little worried about lock."

"The neighborhood was quiet, with plenty of options for local spots or chain restaurants nearby. The house was nice, clean and as described. Plenty of room for our family of four and our dog. The fenced in yard made having our dog with us nice and easy. Overall, a great place to stay, we enjoyed our time there!"

"We had a party of 14 to include elderly. The house was perfect. We had access to both units upstairs and downstairs as well as the pub in the basement. Plenty of room for all. Very spacious and comfortable. The home is very old which adds charm and lots of character. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone in my group was well pleased with their stay. The area is also very nice. "

"The house is huge. We had 14 adults and there was plenty of space. Thank you for the kcup pods of coffee; it was a nice touch. Check in with Derrick was great, as he is friendly and easy to reach. We highly recommend this house...you won't be disappointed!"
