「Grrreat value for money....lovely freindly helpful staff...room excellent...only let down was the shower very slow running and quite jigh up so took a while to rinse my hair and its only short....but apart from that I couldnt fault this hotel...nice big car park outside tables wete nice as it was a lovely day...」

「Very well located for walking to the major visitor attractions such as the Botanical Gardens, Princes Street, The Royal Mile and The Castle, to name but a few. Very good bus links close by. Hotel itself is very well presented. Great food from the restaurant, lively (but not rowdy) bar, but as soon as you go to the bedrooms all is quiet so don’t be put off. Peaceful at night. Polite and professional staff. For a city location this is a fabulous choice. 」

「There's no lift and lots of stairs. I was assigned to a room in the basement the first night, the night lights didn't work. They sent in the maintenance guy, but he didn't have the parts to fix them. The door didn't lock well from inside, so I had to put a chair against it. It is unthinkable that they didn't check if everything works in the room before they make arrangements. I stayed in that room for two nights. Then they changed my room. Finally everything worked in the second one, but it's...
