"Loved our stay in this fantastically converted hotel with so much history and character but with some really cool modern touches too! "A clean, modern hotel with a lovely pool and gym area. The room was very quiet and housekeeping were respectful and quiet and didn’t disturb us, but still looked after our room. We appreciated the robes and slippers and easy lift access to the pool area without having to walk through the reception area. Great bikes to hire from the hotel. Easily walkable into the old town. "Very clean and modern, breakfast was really good with many options. We did have a problem with the air conditioning as the weather was really cold but the heating didn't work. We informed reception who reset the air conditioner 3 times to no avail. In the end they gave us a portable oil radiator which did the job. Staff were pleasant and helpful especially the young lady who worked the bar in the evenings. very happy and pleasant."

"It was an amazing stay. So clean room and lots of ameties. So pleased with the fridge and water boiler. Also the service with iron and iron board before arrival.
