"Our stay was amazing!!! Best Breakfast Ever!!!"

"This place is AMAZING! The decor and overall vibe of “brooding romantic” is done perfectly. The staff was amazing on every shift, the complimentary breakfast has one the best spreads I’ve ever seen, the onsite bar was lively most nights with good drinks, an experienced, friendly bartender and useful hours. The hotel was generally well booked and I rarely heard another guest, the rooms were unique and as nice as the rest of hotel was. Only downsides would be the parking situation which, is most conveniently, found across the street in the parking structure at $10/24hrs max, $1/hr and the tub/shower could use updating, at least in the room I was in. Put in a nice walk in shower with a rain head and side jets and I would’ve probably just moved in. I stayed here for a week total with 2 extensions because of work issues and the staff was so accommodating, service was amazing and I KNOW that I was a pain sometimes, they never made me feel like one. I stay in a lot of hotels while traveling for work and at this price point, as well as many above it, it was hands down the best I’ve ever experienced. Bravo to those involved in making this hotel what it is, I hope I return to Des Moines just for a chance to experience this place again."

"Great stop. Wonderful room. Only thing is…..we have a small dog. Never informed of the $50 charge anywhere along the line. I LOOK for these things Check in clerk s response when informed I have a dog? Oh ok. Not liking the chArge. Nearly 50% of what i paid for room. Wouldn’t mind a hold of whatever amount to insure proper treatment of room but $50/night is to much. Will not stay with this chain as long as that in effect. "

"This hotel has become our go to place to stay in the area. Very clean, spacious and quiet, comfortable rooms. Nice bedding. Floors are clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Free self parking. Friendly staff. Breakfast was simple but good. Options to grab and go, or to plenty of seating to sit and enjoy. Hot breakfast was scrambled eggs, cheese eggs, sausage. There was also yougert, cereals, toast and other items. The workout room looked nice. Talked to some kids who had used the pool. They said it was nice but lots of chlorine. This hotel is very close to outlet shopping and Bass Pro. "
